Tanuki!
Here’s my furry fabulous dog, Tanuki the Airedale terrier! We chose his name from a Tom Robbins novel, Villa Incognito which recounts tales of debauchery and spirituality (like all good Tom Robbins novels do!). Anyways, this particular book involves a Kitsune (fox) and Tanuki (mountain badger) who are animal spirit gods that like messing with humans. Tanuki is known as the god of good times, sake drinking and adventure. It’s pretty much exactly what he’s spent the last 4 years doing, and we’re all the richer for him : )
